ES: Acto 25 de mayo
Video realizado por alumnos de 5to COM con la supervisión de los departamentos de Comunicación y Matemática.
We know that when the women and men of the May Revolution began to dream of leading their own nation, there were countless obstacles that even suggested making shorter-term decisions, prioritizing their own security and social standing. However, they dared to do the improbable because, even amidst disagreements that at times became violent, they were able to walk together and, of course, make history.
These times, two centuries and a bit later, are also times of great upheaval, and we can only move forward together. Listening, empathy, dialogue, acceptance, and patience seem to be key to educating and also to (re)building a nation that truly includes everyone as we navigate these times of pain and uncertainty.
The Holy Spirit, we Christians have that faith, is capable of uniting the diverse, articulating the complex and generating community where sometimes individualities pull each one in their own direction, "tearing" the body of the common.
May this May 25th, with its cockade, flag, and anthem heard in every home that has become a school and in every school that is an extended family, help us to stand up with the hope and strength that comes from being and building community from Santa.
Happy Independence Day!
